Be Independent… Serve Something New for the 4th!

MPM is challenging you to exert a little independence with your 4th of July menu this year! Sure, you could certainly serve the usual standard fare like hot dogs, hamburgers and potato salad … which truth be told, MPM finds a tad boring. So MPM has revved up her creative juices and put together this fun and healthy 4th of July Party Menu. Definitely something for everyone!

This easy-to-prepare menu, features MPM’s Signature Gazpacho, Beef Kefta Kabobs, Zesty Black Bean Burgers (non-vegetarians will adore these), and colorful and healthy Shrimp Cobb Salad and Herbed Buttermilk Cole Slaw. Also consider serving homemade Caponata with crostini which is always a crowd-pleaser. And- if you’ve never tried grilling fruit, Grilled Pineapple with Orange-Honey Glaze provides an explosion of flavor! Refreshing Homemade Frozen Fruit Pops and Oh-So-Fudgey Brownies round out this healthy and truly fun holiday menu.

So this year, think about treating your family and guests to a surprising twist on the “typical” by serving up some of MPM’s 4th of July goodies! Decorate your table with festive red, white and blue and enjoy a healthy feast that’s fun for all.
